We wrote this policy in plain English on purpose. No dense legalese. Just a straight answer to: what do we collect, why do we collect it, and how do we protect it. If something's unclear, email us at privacy@highside-re.com and we'll explain it.

1 What We Collect

Here's everything we collect when you use Cooper โ€” broken down honestly:

Account information:

Payment information:

Conversation and interaction data:

Documents and files you share:

Usage data:

2 How We Use Your Data

We use your data only for these purposes:

What we don't do: We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it to train shared AI models that other clients benefit from. Your data is yours.

3 Data Isolation

Each Cooper client operates in a completely separate, isolated environment. This is a structural guarantee โ€” not just a policy promise.

Think of your Cooper workspace like a private office. We can confirm it's running and healthy. We don't read your files.

4 Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your subscription is active, plus a 30-day grace period after cancellation.

5 Your Rights

You have real control over your data. Here's what you can do โ€” just email us at privacy@highside-re.com:

๐Ÿ“ฅ Export your data

Request a full export of your conversation history, files, and account data. We'll deliver it to you within 10 business days.

๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ Delete your data

Request deletion of your account and all associated data. We'll confirm deletion within 30 days.

โœ๏ธ Correct inaccuracies

Ask us to update or correct any account information that is inaccurate. We'll make the change promptly.

๐Ÿšซ Restrict processing

Ask us to limit how we use your data while a dispute or concern is being resolved.

Texas residents may also have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), including the right to know what data is collected, opt out of certain processing, and appeal our decisions. We comply with applicable state privacy law.

6 Third-Party Service Providers

We work with a small number of trusted vendors to operate the Service. Here's who they are, what they do, and where you can find their privacy policies:

Vendor Purpose What they receive
Anthropic AI model processing (powers Cooper's intelligence) Message content processed in real-time to generate responses. Subject to Anthropic's privacy and data handling policies.
Stripe Payment processing and billing Payment card details, billing address, transaction history. We don't store card numbers ourselves.
Microsoft / Azure Email infrastructure for Cooper's email channel Email content sent to and from your Cooper email address, subject to Microsoft's privacy policy.
Cloudflare Website hosting, CDN, and security IP addresses and request metadata for DDoS protection and performance. Subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties for marketing, advertising, or analytics purposes.

7 Security

We take security seriously. Here's what we do to protect your data:

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law and take immediate steps to contain and remediate it.

8 Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses minimal cookies โ€” primarily for session management and basic analytics. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or third-party behavioral analytics tools.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. This may affect some functionality of the website but will not impact your ability to use the Cooper service itself.

9 Children's Privacy

The Cooper service is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll post the updated policy here and notify you by email at least 30 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
