Company: Highside Real Estate, LLC
We wrote this policy in plain English on purpose. No dense legalese. Just a straight answer to: what do we collect, why do we collect it, and how do we protect it. If something's unclear, email us at
privacy@highside-re.com and we'll explain it.
1 What We Collect
Here's everything we collect when you use Cooper โ broken down honestly:
Account information:
- Your name and email address (required to create your account)
- Your company name or role (optional, provided during signup)
- How you heard about us (optional)
Payment information:
- Billing information is collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor
- We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers โ Stripe handles that
- We do store records of your subscription plan, billing cycle, and payment history for billing purposes
Conversation and interaction data:
- All messages you send to and receive from Cooper
- Tasks, requests, and prompts you submit
- Cooper's responses and outputs
Documents and files you share:
- Any files, documents, spreadsheets, or data you upload or share with Cooper as part of a task
Usage data:
- Basic technical data like your IP address, browser type, and timestamps of interactions
- Error logs and performance data used to maintain and improve the Service
2 How We Use Your Data
We use your data only for these purposes:
- To provide the Service: Your conversation history and preferences allow Cooper to remember context, personalize responses, and get better at helping you over time.
- To improve Cooper's responses for you specifically: Cooper learns from your interactions to serve you better โ not to train shared models used by other clients.
- For billing and account management: Processing payments, sending receipts, managing subscription renewals and cancellations.
- To communicate with you: Sending your daily briefings, account notifications, service announcements, and responses to support requests.
- For security and fraud prevention: Monitoring for unauthorized access or misuse.
- For legal compliance: Retaining records as required by applicable law.
What we don't do: We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it to train shared AI models that other clients benefit from. Your data is yours.
3 Data Isolation
Each Cooper client operates in a completely separate, isolated environment. This is a structural guarantee โ not just a policy promise.
- Your conversations, files, and preferences are stored in a dedicated workspace that no other client can access
- Your data is never used to train shared AI models or to improve responses for other users
- We cannot use what you tell Cooper to benefit another client โ it simply doesn't work that way
- Even our own staff have limited access to client data, governed by strict internal access controls
Think of your Cooper workspace like a private office. We can confirm it's running and healthy. We don't read your files.
4 Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your subscription is active, plus a 30-day grace period after cancellation.
- While subscribed: All data is retained so Cooper can remember context and continue building a relationship with you
- After cancellation: Your data is retained for 30 days. During this window, you can request a full export
- After 30 days post-cancellation: Your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems
- Billing records: Basic billing transaction records may be retained longer as required by law (typically 7 years for financial records)
5 Your Rights
You have real control over your data. Here's what you can do โ just email us at privacy@highside-re.com:
๐ฅ Export your data
Request a full export of your conversation history, files, and account data. We'll deliver it to you within 10 business days.

Texas residents may also have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), including the right to know what data is collected, opt out of certain processing, and appeal our decisions. We comply with applicable state privacy law.

7 Security
We take security seriously. Here's what we do to protect your data:
- Encryption at rest: All stored data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption
- Encryption in transit: All communications are encrypted via TLS/HTTPS
- Isolated environments: Each client's data is stored in a dedicated, logically isolated environment
- Access controls: Internal access to client data is strictly limited and logged
- Infrastructure security: Our systems are hosted on Cloudflare and secured cloud infrastructure with regular security monitoring
No system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law and take immediate steps to contain and remediate it.
8 Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses minimal cookies โ primarily for session management and basic analytics. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or third-party behavioral analytics tools.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. This may affect some functionality of the website but will not impact your ability to use the Cooper service itself.
9 Children's Privacy
The Cooper service is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
10 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll post the updated policy here and notify you by email at least 30 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
